Terms and Conditions

Acceptance of Terms and Conditions: These Terms and Conditions shall be deemed a part of and are expressly incorporated by reference into any and all agreements entered between Jacob’s Travels, (hereinafter “Jacob’s Travels” “we” “us” “our” and any similar deviations) and you the client (hereinafter “you” or “yours”. Please read all Terms and Conditions.

By securing Jacob’s Travels, you are affirmatively representing that you have read and accepted the Terms and Conditions on behalf of yourself and anyone in your traveling party. If you are the lead client making the reservations/bookings on behalf of other travelers in your party, you accept full responsibility for these Terms and Conditions on behalf of all reservations/bookings you submit and acknowledge that any fraudulent or speculative reservations/bookings are a violation of this agreement.

Our services defined herein are limited to and provided under the terms stated herein. Terms contained in any other document, correspondence, or other forms that are additional to, or inconsistent with the provisions in these Terms and Conditions are rejected. No such changes or deviations will be effective unless they are explicitly accepted in writing by an authorized agent of Jacob’s Travels.

I understand that Jacob’s Travels is not the source or Supplier of the travel services I have requested and acts solely as an agent for the actual Suppliers of such services. I have been advised that the Suppliers whose names appear in the information supplied to me are those who are actually responsible for providing the travel services I have purchased. I consent to and request the use of those Suppliers and agree not to hold Jacob’s Travels responsible should any of these suppliers: 1) fail to provide the travel services I have purchased; 2) fail to comply with any applicable law; or 3) engage in any negligent act or omission that causes me any sort of injury, damage, delay, or inconvenience.

I accept that Jacob’s Travels is not responsible for, nor will I attempt to hold it liable for, any injury, damage, or loss I may suffer on account of any conditions, actions, or omissions that are beyond its reasonable control.

I further understand and acknowledge that travel to many parts of the world may involve the risk of a variety of hazards to my health and/or safety, including but not limited to disease, crime, terrorism, and warfare.  Because each traveler’s risk tolerance is different, Jacob’s Travels is not in a position to advise me whether I should travel to any particular place at any particular time.  Rather, to assist me in making an informed decision, I should refer to objective third-party sources of travel information, such as that maintained by the U.S. Department of State (travel.state.gov).

I will review my travel documents for accuracy upon receipt and understand that I may contact Jacob’s Travels if I have any questions. I understand that discounted fares typically involve restrictions and that changing any aspect of my travel arrangements may result in the payment of additional money.

I have been advised to use a credit card as this may offer me the opportunity to dispute the charge should a vendor cease operating.

I understand that the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) requires me to carry a government-issued identification card in order to board a flight. I have been advised that the name, date of birth, and gender that appear on the identification card must exactly match the same data that is listed on my airline ticket and in my booking records. I acknowledge that my failure to strictly comply with these requirements may result in denied boarding or an undue delay at an airport security checkpoint causing me to miss my flight.  I further acknowledge that beginning on May 7, 2025, I must present a driver’s license or another form of identification that complies with the requirements of the Federal Real ID Act (see www.dhs.gov/real-id for more information).

I understand that if traveling internationally, I must have a valid passport and, depending upon my destination and nationality, I may need to obtain one or more visas.

I understand if I have any criminal background, warrants, owe child support, owe taxes, etc., and am denied by the airline/cruise line because of background issues Jacob’s Travels is not liable. If I book this trip, I will not receive a refund and Jacob’s Travels will not be held responsible for anyone not being able to enter another country. It is my responsibility to know if I can travel or not.

Note to Client: Passport and visa information may be obtained by contacting the Travel Agent Section of the U.S. State Department at 202.647.5225 or by visiting the State Department’s Web site at travel.state.gov. Non-U.S. passport holders should be sure to contact the embassies of their destination and transit countries to obtain entrance requirements. To obtain medical and health information, you may contact the Centers for Disease Control at 404.332.4559 or visit the CDC’ s Web site at www.cdc.gov.

Price quotes are applicable to the date and time at which they are requested. I understand that the airline tickets, air tours, or other products I am purchasing are subject to supplemental price increases that may be imposed after the date of purchase. Post-purchase price increases may be applied due to additional costs imposed by a Supplier or Government. I acknowledge that I may be charged additional sums by Jacob’s Travels to offset increased fees, fuel surcharges, taxes, fluctuations in foreign exchange markets, or any combination thereof. I hereby consent to any post-purchase price increases and authorize Jacob’s Travels to charge my credit card for such additional amounts. Final payments must be made no later than the due date provided to you at the time of booking your trip package or other services unless otherwise stated or agreed in writing. Your reservation/booking is subject to cancellation by the supplier if the final payment is not received by the deadline. Some airfares or other services must be paid in full at the time of booking. Jacob’s Travels accepts debit cards or credit cards. You will be required to read and sign a credit card authorization form. I understand that cancellation request(s) for the booking must be sent in writing to jackie@jacobstravels.com.

Roommate Clause: I understand that if I am sharing accommodation but paying separately (roommates), I am responsible for the full amount of the accommodation should any party sharing the accommodation with me become unable to fulfill their financial requirement. For any reason, I understand that it is my responsibility to A) find another person to take over the financial obligation or B) pay the entire amount of the booking myself which may be subject to a price increase. I will not hold Jacob’s Travels responsible if I find a roommate too late to add to the booking, and for any loss or penalties due to any of the roommate’s inability to meet the financial requirements of the booking.

The purchase of travel insurance is highly recommended on all trips.

If Jacob’s Travels, and/or any of our travel suppliers are affected by Force Majeure, they shall be entitled to, and may in their sole and absolute discretion vary or cancel any itinerary or arrangement in relation to the trip.
